The Power Of Pre-Selling…
I just read of a PDF ebook where Mark Joyner was mentioning one of the most important part of closing that sale online was inside the prospect’s head. It’s in his mind, more specifically its in his frame of mind…
‘Frame of mind’ basically refers to the state which the prospect is in when he reaches your sales page. Is he just a clicker? Browser? Is he already warmed up and in a ‘ready to buy’ state? Was he purely just searching for information?
Another interesting thing I read (and I fully agree) is that the people who refund after buying a product has already made that decision before their purchase. I believe John Carlton mentioned that.
Which makes pre-selling even more important to convert more lookers and searchers into buyers. Affiliate Project X has one very nice section devoted to pre-selling and Chris did a wonderful job explaining the ‘how’ of pre-selling.
I’m wasn’t doing nothing the past few days. I was busy setting up another little ‘test’ of mine (running parallel with my social traffic generation test) to specifically gauge the conversion of a pre-sell vs direct sales page.
