If you’ve been following my blog for some time now, you’d have noticed
I’m a BIG fan of Squidoo!
And to coincide with the launch of my new ‘Bum marketing’ (cheesy, more popular
name for article marketing) I’ve used a Squidoo lens to target the keyword ‘bum marketing’
One of the SEO ‘trick’ is to always go after the long tail keywords instead of the actual
primary keyword.
“bum marketing report” instead of “bum marketing”
“free bum marketing” instead of “bum marketing”
“bum marketing guide” instead of “bum marketing”
By the way, my Squidoo lens got ranked #1 for the terms bum marketing report, bum marketing guide, free bum marketing and I’m getting a very steadly flow of Google traffic to my lens!
AND I got ranked #6 for the term “bum marketing”.
See how targetting the ‘long tail’ keywords(bum marketing guide, free bum marketing…) actually got me ranked for the main ( 
most juicy! ) keyword as well?
Well, this is yet more proof that bum marketing works!

I’ve been having qutie a fair bit of success with the long tail keywords.
Between you and me and everyone else reading this comment, (shhhh!) if you search for the term “audio video riches” (a newly launched product btw). You can see 2 organic listings from me on the first page of Google…
…in fact ranking for a *product’s name* is one of the easiest and most profitable affiliate methods I’ve been using!
