I’ve been actively involved in internet marketing since 2003 and my ‘big break’ came in June 2006 where I created sold my own product ‘Clickbank Profit Machine’.
I’m currently still serving my mandatory army term and will enter into a local
university when my senctence ends.
My main strengths in internet marketing are copywriting, article marketing, product creation and affiliate marketing. A ‘jack-of-all-trades’ streak in running in me!
I’m always looking to improve my internet marketing skills and I love to read books related(even remotely) books on marketing…
I’m in love with graphic novels (big fan of Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore and Bill Willingham!)
One of my favorite books of all times has to be ‘Influnce, The Psychology of Persuasion’ by Robert Cialdini. Read it, it’ll make you a better person.
I’m absolutely crazy over Liverpool Football Club and my 8-year old westie positively adores me :) (or is it the other way round?)

I have a question for you. If I submit my articles to an article directory and set up an article blog with those same articles, will I get slapped with a duplicate content penalty? I want to copy your strategy to get build up links to my new site.

YES you will get penalized but I still do that because I’m lazy.. :p
But who cares really if the purpose of your article blog site is to:
1. Get Adsense Income
2. Get affiliate product clicks and sales

Thanks for the advice Dylan :-). Yes, I want to generate the adsense income and make affiliate $, but I also want back links to my main blog. If I do major rewrites (35% or greater) of PLR articles and submit those to article directories, can I avoid the penalty? Thanks again!

I started out in 2002 when I was 19 but I had a “break” that then prematurely died off because I was trying to do too many things at the same time.
You seem to be handling your jack of all trades streak pretty well.

Hey Dylan, thanks for stopping in and the email today. yeah, i’m a tech guy. last november i got some “training” on internet marketing, and they spent 90% time trying to explain a “browser” to the callers. hardly learned a thing about IM. so as time goes on, I hope I can start helping people who are bashing their head with the technology.

I read about you on Stuart’s blog and just bought your Clickbank Profit Machine product, quite excited to get started on it actually.

My name is Steven Johnson. I am currently a 20 year old college student.
I have quietly been involved with internet markerting for about 2 years now. I am getting the hang of it, but I guess you can still say that I am fairly new.
Within these two years I have successfully promoted many products for top marketers. I’ve already come in contact with some top marketers such as Ewen Chia and Brian Wynn who even used my testimonial for his new SecureIncomeSystem that he just launched.
I have successfully launched 3 of my own websites as well. They all converted very well for me, and my newest site has literally been bringing in thousands of dollars every month.

Like I said before, my name is Steven Johnson and I am a 20 year old college student who has been quietly making thousands of dollars a month selling my services and marketing other people’s products online.
I started building my list in January 2008 using many different methods such as participating in giveaways (most recent was Reed Floren’s Ultimate Giveaway), PPC, setting up webforms on my sites, holding contests, setting up many squeeze pages, etc. and as of today, May 25, 2008, I have a targeted responsive optin list of 256,198 subscribers to my newsletter.
